National Digital library of India

This is a project under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The objective is to integrate several national and international digital libraries in one single web-portal. The NDLI provides free of cost access to many books in English and Indian languages.

The Library was launched in pilot form in May 2016 as of April 2019; NDLI hosts 25,000,000+ items in its repository, with over 150,000 volumes in English. The Library was dedicated to the nation in June 2018.
